Using Presenter View while sharing in Zoom
Instructors and other speakers may find it beneficial to use Presenter View during their presentations to have control over their content and simultaneously access their notes, allowing attendees to view their presentation uninterrupted.
Google Slides
Open the presentation in Google Slides
Click the arrow next to the Slideshow button at the top-right corner of the screen. Then click ‘Presenter view’.

Open Zoom then click the Share Screen button. If already in a Zoom meeting, click the green Share button.
In the Share options popup, select the window with the presentation in full view.

macOS
Use cmd+tab, Mission Control, or the dock to return to Presenter View.
Windows
Use ctrl+tab or Start button to access the taskbar and return to the Presenter View.
PowerPoint
Open the presentation in PowerPoint.
Click the Slide Show tab at the top of the screen. Then click ‘Presenter View’.

macOS
Use cmd+tab, Mission Control, or Launchpad to open Zoom.
Windows
Use ctrl+tab or the Start button to open Zoom.
Click Share Screen. If already in a Zoom meeting, click the Share button.

In the Share options popup, select the fullscreen presentation window.

Use cmd+tab or Mission Control to return to Presenter View.
Windows
Use ctrl+tab or Start button to access the taskbar and return to the Presenter View.
Apple Keynote
Currently, it is not possible to use the Presenter View feature in Apple Keynote while sharing your screen in Zoom. Alternatively, you can export your Keynote presentation as a PPT file (using File > Export To… > PowerPoint). Open this file using PowerPoint (license required) or Google Slides (free/included with all Georgetown accounts) and follow the instructions above.
